Today, Heart of a Champions ‘Saturday Salute’ is Nova Scotia’s, Ozzie Henderson! Ozzie can easily be considered one of those ‘unsung hero’s’, who made each stock car show magical because of his passion and dedication to the sport! Ozzie was the chief starter at Atlantic Speedway during the ’70s when we flocked to stock car tracks every weekend to see our hero’s of the day like Frank Fraser, Greg Sewart, Adelard Cormier, Terry Clattenburg, Jerome Tracey, Carmen Christie, and dozen’s more! 🙂 In the stand and on the track, Ozzie always looked ‘polished’ and his flagging style was unmistakable. 🙂 Today we salute our friend who is sorely missed 🙂 Ozzie, thank you for helping to make the show magical. 🙂 You had the Heart of a Champion. 🙂 Photos: Ken MacIsaac
