Today, Heart of a Champion’s ‘Saturday Salute’ is New Brunswick’s Pierre Arsenault! Pierre began stock car racing in the early 70s at Hammond River, winning their Late Model Championship in 1981! As a founding member of MASCAR (Maritime Association of Stock Car Auto Racing), Pierre traveled to all of ‘the bull-rings’ around the Maritime’s and also ventured down to Oxford Plains and Spud’s Speedway in Caribou! Never without a smile, Pierre was a friend to all and always willing to lend a helping hand. 🙂 Whether it was Hanley, Biederman, Fraser, Sewart, Clattenburg, Smith, and many more of our hero’s, Pierre ran door handle to door handle with them all!
