Today we salute Minto New Brunswick’s Smokin Joe Albert! Smokin Joe won his first championship in 1966 and added dozens of features wins over the next several decades! Joe retired from racing in 2011 after racing at many New Brunswick tracks, many of which are now closed. A great ambassador for the sport, Joe was probably more recognizable for his grey beard than his orange #04! 🙂 For a life dedicated to our sport, Joe had the Heart of a Champion. We miss you, Joe!
