Today we proudly salute Adelard Cormier! The ‘God Father’ of stock car racing in New Brunswick has a long list of accomplishments! Car builder, engine builder, driver, Adelard did it all, and with a touch of class. From his International wins, to track championships to his collection of 200+ feature wins, Adelard was one of the guy’s to beat every time he unloaded his car! Unfortunately, we lost Adelard a couple of years ago but his legacy lives on with his son Laurie. Adelard now lives in the stories and memories of all who were fortunate to watch him run and spend time with him. Adelard exemplified ‘Heart of a Champion”. Photo credit: Ken MacIsaac.
