Today, Heart of a Champion proudly salutes Prince Edward Island’s hard-charger, Scott Livingston, as this weeks ‘Saturday Salute’ recipient! Scott’s interest in all things mechanical and motorsports started at a very early age! At 17, he began motocross racing and also tried his hand at ice racing. He owned and operated Scott’s Cycle, where he was a certified motorcycle tech and registered instructor with the Canadian Safety Council’s Motorcycle Training Program. Later in his career, he became very active in the family welding shop which helped his budding stock car career. Scott built stock cars for himself and fellow competitors. He raced on the MASCAR Tour and the Maritime Pro Stock Tour before retiring in 2010. A true motorsports ambassador, Scott remains active with the racing community and is a member of the Maritime Motorsports Hall of Fame, for his many contributions to Maritime stock car racing!
