Today we salute a local racing legend from the 1970s, Johnny Howard! John raced at many tracks in the 60s and 70s but he is the best known for his ‘H’ Chevy which he drove to many victories at Atlantic Speedway and Riverside International Speedway. John was a contender in any race he entered and certainly was a character who helped shape the local racing scene in the 70s!
