Today, Heart of a Champion proudly salutes ole Car 54 himself, Frank Moore! Frankie was one of the most popular New Brunswick drivers in the 60’s and 70’s! Winning dozens of features and championships, Frank was a force to be reckoned with at any track he pulled into! Whether it was the old Airport Raceway in St. John, NB or Brookside Speedway in Fredericton, Frank was one of the guy’s to beat in his Ford! The #54 & #23 1/2 were also front runners at Riverglade, Dannys Speedbowl, and Miramichi Speedways. Frank was one of those special characters who helped shape stock car racing into what it is today. Frankie, thank you for all the years of dedication and you absolutely have the Heart of a Champion. 🙂 Photo’s courtesy of the MMHOF.
