Today, Heart of a Champions ‘Saturday Salute’, is Nova Scotia Native, Don Munroe! At an early age, Don was immersed in bikes, as his Dad Dave, was one of the founders of Atlantic Motorsports Park (AMP)! ???? Don started competing in 1986 on a Honda RS125 and showed natural ability and ‘feel’ for the bike, which would lead him to dominate 600 racing in Canada for many years! Don also raced south of the border but it was his Canadian dominance that resulted in 4 National Championships and dozens of Superbike wins! ???? Don retired from competition in 1998 and was inducted into the Canadian Motorcycle Hall of Fame in 2006.
