Today, Heart of a Champion proudly recognizes Nova Scotia’s, Heidi Cooke, as this week’s ‘Saturday Salute’ recipient! Heidi started racing when she was 16 and was immediately hooked!Her vast success in motocross racing has taken her to many different locations including the USA, Bermuda and even as far as Dubai! She won the Women Pro Nationals a record 6 times! For many years she wrote a column for a Canadian Moto Magazine called IMX. Her passion for Motocross racing also took her into the film world as a stunt double in a half dozen films. She even spent three months in Montreal filming a major motion picture! Heidi rode for KTM Canada and Freedom Cycle wearing the # 1 proudly and she is a member of the Maritime Motorsports Hall of Fame! Heidi, thank you for all the years of dedication to Maritime motorsports and Motocross! You have the Heart of a Champion.
