Today, Heart of a Champion proudly salutes a Prince Edward Island motorsports legend, Albert Gallant! Albert began racing stock cars in the early 1960s with a ’56 Ford in the Hobby Division at a track in Charlottetown. 1967 started racing at Freetown. At many events, he garnered many triple wins. 1975 at Freetown he won the Island Championship. 1989 in the “Old Timers Race” at Raceway Park, driving his Mini Stock he took first place, beating out Street Stock and the Modified divisions. Albert raced with the Heart of a Champion.
