Today, Heart of a Champions ‘Saturday Salute’ is Nova Scotia’s Ronnie Locke! Ronnie started his racing career on the drag strip in the late 60s. Ronnie could easily be referred to as the ‘Tony Stewart’ of Maritime racing for his ability to get in anything on 4 wheels and win! Ronnie’s driving ability was second to none and his winning record shows that! 🙂 Not only was Ronnie a championship driver but he was also builder and ambassador for Maritime motorsports. Ronnie was instrumental in helping to build Atlantic Motorsports Park in 1974! Such a likable individual, Ronnie was extremely successful in the car business working at Bob MacDonald Chevrolet for decades! Ronnie, thank you for sharing your gift of driving for all Maritime race fans to witness! You’re a true gentleman with the Heart of a Champion! 🙂 Photo’s: Jason Locke
