The Heart of a Champion Saturday Salute this week is Mr. Drag racing, Boo King! Gordon ‘Boo’ King started drag racing at 16 with an old ’57 Chev! Since his first pass down the strip, Boo has been ‘hooked’! Boo has hauled his rocket from his home base in Fredericton to many different tracks around the Maritime’s, Ontario and the US! Known for his ’68 Camaro, ‘The Nuclear Banana’, Boo has also drag raced bikes! Boo’s life has been drag racing which resulted in his induction into the Maritime Motorsports Hall of Fame!
