JAMES RIVER, NS – Organizers with Heart of a Champion were on hand at Riverside International Speedway as part of the IWK 250 Super Weekend to announce they intend to form a vintage race car series in the Maritimes.

Maritime stock car racing legend Frank Fraser climbed behind the wheel of HOAC’s #134 vintage open-wheel tour-type modified race car to help make the announcement to the enthusiastic huge crowd on hand at the event.

The news series is expected to debut in 2020 with hopes of racing a handful of events in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and Prince Edward Island. The series is open to cars 35 years or older and to those drivers interested in competing in fun no contact gentleman-style racing.
